Dello is a lifelong North End resident who honed his craft at the age of 14, cutting hair for most of the neighborhood residents for free in the basement of his family’s building on Fleet Street. Since then, a lot has changed; Dello is now the heart and soul of the most successful barber shop in the city.
Matthew “Cap” CaPPELLO

Born and raised in the North End and a graduate of New England Hair Academy, “Cap” – as his patrons call him – can tackle any hair situation and specializes in the newest trends and styles. He works the clippers like no other and has been with Boston Barber & Tattoo Co. since day one. Like Dello, Cap also began cutting hair in his basement, honing his craft on his friends and other neighborhood locals.
